Torsion driving cosmic expansion

Abstract We study a cosmological model based on the canonical Hamiltonian transformation theory. Using linear-quadratic approach for free gravitational De Donder–Weyl $$H_\textrm{Gr}$$ H Gr , contains terms describing deformation of an AdS spacetime and fully anti-symmetric torsion in addition to Einstein’s The resulting extension Einstein–Cartan theory depends two initially unknown constants, $$\Omega _\textrm{g}$$ Ω g _\textrm{s}$$ s . Given appropriate choice these parameters from analysis asymptotics, numerical calculations were performed with _\mathrm {\Lambda } = 0$$ Λ = 0 Values Planck Collaboration (Aghanim Cosmol Parameters 641 6, 2020) used all other required parameters. In this way, it is shown that can explain phenomena commonly attributed dark energy, thus replace constant.
